Recordings and IP

All expert calls are recorded & transcribed, unless you or the expert ask to have it disabled.
When recruited, all experts are asked for their consent to have the call recorded and transcribed. The are aware that the Client owns the transcript and may use it for their business purposes.
About 1% of experts decline to be recorded. This is clearly visible in their expert card, before you do the call, as illustrated below:



Expert confidentiality

All experts sign contracts stipulating that all expert call information is strictly confidential. This includes the identity of the Customer, the subject matter of the project, call or survey. They may not disclose such information to any third party without the prior express written consent of the Customer. This confidentiality obligation does not expire.

Expert compliance

All experts have received compliance instructions in respect of what constitutes confidential, or material non-public information, and why the Customer shall not receive it.
Their contracts further stipulate:
  • that they possess the necessary qualifications and suitability to perform each Engagement, Survey or Related Service,
  • that they will not provide advice or information on any company in which they have a direct affiliation as an employee, owner, director, board member or in a similar position.
  • that they will adhere to any specific compliance rules communicated by the Customer, as well as standard industry codes of conduct and compliance regulations,
  • that their participation in any Engagement, Survey, or Related Service will not, under any circumstances, (i) create an actual or perceived conflict of interest, (ii) cause any party, including the Expert or Survey Respondent, to violate any existing or prior agreements, (iii) involve the disclosure or trading of confidential or material non-public information not owned by the Expert or Survey Respondent, and (iv) breach any laws, rules, regulations, formal or information codes of conduct, or court or authority orders.
  • That all insights, opinions, and information they provide prior to, during, or after an Engagement, Survey, or Related Service will be based exclusively on their own genuine knowledge, experience, and expertise. They shall not engage in any deceptive or fraudulent behavior, which includes, but is not limited to, misrepresenting their identity or qualifications, or consulting external resources to formulate or supplement their insights, opinions, and information. Such prohibited resources include, but are not limited to, artificial intelligence, large language models, and the internet.
