Yes. Your identity is not required to be shared with the expert. By default, calls are "single-blinded", meaning your identity is not disclosed to the expert. However, sometimes the expert networks may ask for approval to disclose your identity (or at least category like "Analyst at a US Research Firm"), to give experts more comfort and increase the likelihood that they'll engage for an expert call.
Can experts see my name on the calendar invitations?
No they don't.To keep your identity blinded, we issue two separate invitations for clients and experts.
Client invite includes information on the expert and the meeting link.
Expert invite only contains the meeting link; no client information is shared.
What platform is used for expert calls and how do I join?
All expert calls are conducted securely through our proprietary browser-based Zoom interface. No app download is required.
If your job requires you to understand strategic developments in markets and companies, then yes.If you're a firefighter, probably not.
What are the best practices for expert call projects?
Clarity and communication will give you the best results:
1. Provide a detailed brief, when possible, including company lists, exact knowledge needs, timelines, and budget, especially any compliance or do-not-contact restrictions. Greater detail improves performance, and the networks will be able to target what you're looking for quicker.
2. Communicate frequently. Expert networks manage many simultaneous requests. They prioritize responsive clients.
Yes. While call recording is on by default for all meetings, you can use the toggle button within the interface to turn off recording for that specific call.
What are Inex One's billing rules (grace period, short calls, and rounding) for expert calls?
Billing is standardized across all partners and based on the following rules:
15-Minute Grace Period: You can terminate the call within the first 15 minutes without charge if the expert's experience is inadequate (does not apply if meaningful insights were provided).
Short Call Rate: 30-minute calls are billed at a maximum of 80% of the hourly rate.
Increments: We use a 3-minute threshold before applying 15-minute increment billing
If the call exceeds the 15-minute increment by 3 minutes or less, we round down (e.g., 63 minutes is billed as 60 min).
If the call exceeds the 15-minute increment by more than 3 minutes, we round up (64 minutes is billed as 1 hr 15 min)
The AI Insights tab is a secure and private LLM chat. Its only sources of truth are the transcripts from your conducted calls and the relevant project context. The tool is designed to synthesize the information already within your transcripts and project; it cannot provide new or external data.
Do I have a dedicated account manager on Inex One? I enjoy having someone that I can call. I fear that I might not get that with an aggregator like Inex One.
Yes. At Inex One, every client is assigned a dedicated Account Manager (AM).
Our AMs offer personalized support to maximize value from the platform and supply partners (expert networks and survey providers). They are highly experienced, often exceeding the tenure and expertise of typical expert network associates.
What is the most effective way to communicate with expert networks?
The project chat. Use it directly for all questions, requests, and updates.
You can also simply reply to a chat email, and your message gets imported into the chat.
What types of projects can I launch on Inex One?
We support both qualitative and quantitative market research.
You can do:
Expert interviews (also known as in-depth interviews, IDIs)
Surveys (B2B and B2C)
In-person meetings, workshops and roundtables
Find deal advisors and expert consultants
Our core focus is supporting due diligences that require expert calls and B2B surveys, but we also support B2C and healthcare quantitative research. Reach out to our team here to discuss your specific use case.
Can Inex One support on all industries & geos?
Yes. Our diverse range of partners can source for all project types, from niche, localized expertise requiring a few calls, to high-volume call projects.
The platform matches your project with the best vendors for your specific needs.
How do I select the right expert networks for my project?
We do it for you!
The Inex One platform automatically recommends the 1-3 best-placed networks for your specific needs (e.g., regional or niche expertise). It's been trained on 10,000+ projects, knowing which vendors are best for each query.
You can still change or add other networks if you wish.
Will expert networks become obsolete in a world of AI?
We don't think so, but let's see!
Expert networks remain crucial because their value is based on unique, non-indexed, human-generated information. LLMs and search engines provide easy access to commodity (codified and indexed) data. This makes the relative value of unique, specific expert knowledge go up.
